MINA IMAGE CENTER: 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀 - 𝗔 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝘆

I will be giving this workshop at the Mina Image Centre. All details below:

️ 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀 - 𝗔 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝘆 with Christine Kettaneh on Tuesday April 4, 2023 – From 4:30 till 7:30 PM 

The house as a center of solitude, boredom and daydream gives us images of intimacy, secrecy, repose, refuge, shelter, stability and adventure - a topography of our intimate being. This workshop invites us to relive our house with poetic reverie and then allow that reverie to create spaces that transcend the house’s geometries.

In this workshop, we will learn some basic ‘cut and fold’ techniques to build ‘collapsible structures’ with paper. We then move beyond those techniques to build our house images.

𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙆𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙝 is a multidisciplinary artist holding a Master of Fine Arts from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (2013). She is also adjunct assistant professor at the Lebanese American University, teaching the foundation program in the School of Architecture and Design.

Who is this workshop for? Open to anyone but preferably those of you who have a creative side.
